Beginning Free Style Machine Quilting
Saturday, October 23, 1PM - 4PM
This class is for quilters with no previous quilting experi-ence
or for those who are struggling with poor results. You will
learn how to properly baste your quilts and find out about
choices in marking and non- marking tech-niques. You will learn
how to get the most out of your walking foot and get a good
start on exploration with free motion techniques. We‟ll also
cover lots of informa-tion on threads and batting. One 3 hour
class. Students must have a walking and a free motion/darning
foot.

Quick Design Essentials
Sunday, October 23, 10 AM - 5 PM
Do you want to design your own, original quilts but feel you
lack the necessary skills? If so, this is the class for you. In
it, Heather will teach you all about the elements and principles
of design and introduce you to a tool box full of skills that
will make the process from composition to completion much
easier and satisfying. In class you will make your own booklet
full of mock quilt com-positions using decorative papers. Later
you can use those compositions as jumping off points for new
quilts!
For any skill level. Please bring your lunch.
